As part of our continuing commitment to delivering solutions that enhance shop productivity as well as regulatory compliance, DeVilbiss is pleased to announce EPA approval for several High Efficiency Spray Guns. The TEKNA, CVi, and Plus spray guns are capable of achieving equivalent to or better transfer efficiency than HVLP spray equipment and can be used in most areas that require HVLP.  DeVilbiss is among the first to be approved by the EPA.

According to the EPA, these DeVilbiss spray guns comply with §63.11173(e)(3) of 40 CFR part 63 subpart HHHHHH.  This ruling states that “All spray-applied coatings must be applied with a high volume, low pressure (HVLP) spray gun, electrostatic application, airless spray gun, air-assisted airless spray gun, or an equivalent technology that is demonstrated by the spray gun manufacturer to achieve transfer efficiency comparable to one of the spray gun technologies listed above for a comparable operation, and for which written approval has been obtained from the Administrator.”

TEKNA, CVi, and Plus guns provide a winning combination -- productivity, material savings, and regulatory compliance.
